Hi Jeff - thanks for your comments. The slight blue hue is possibly due to lighting. There is also quite strong blue in some id the wall installation near these sculptures. All marks have been made by me splitting the stone from larger parts, or using grinders and hammers. I am glad you notice the balance as this is a huge part of my work and I spend a long time finding the right point.

Daniel,
The forms are quite sensuous, inviting one to touch. I like that aspect of your work. Nice to see also that you have included a textural aspect and that you have left the evidence of the quarry drills on some works. Is the blue hue on some photos due to the lighting, or is that the true colur of the pokished stone? I am curious to know how you achieved the balancing act on some works. How are the sculptures fixed - epoxy or pins?? The precarious balance induces a tension in the viewer - nice. Looking forward to seeing the rest in the series.

Hi Mick, many thanks for your comments. It takes time and determination, I sometimes wonder myself. Are you working in stone?

Your work is incredibly beautiful and inspiring. I have yet to gain the ability to see the shapes you do and the technical knowledge to make them.

Thanks Marg. Really good to hear feedback like this. You're right about the form (the curves), they have to be found, worked and reworked
